In case you don’t follow the Facebook Developer forums, it was recently posted that Facebook is looking for Beta Testers of their Facebook Payments. This will be great as this will combine the Facebook environment with a monetization tool so that you won’t have to do third-party integration. This will also possibly allow for micro-currency transactions, as currently the solutions out their including Paypal are not friendly to anyone who has a low dollar transaction that they need to process.
We have emailed the Facebook Platform Team and inquired about becoming a beta tester as this is a perfect transition of our Ecommerce businesses with our growing Facebook App development work.
Will this create a micro-commerce world within Facebook and continue to allow it to grow? Some people think this will be the beginning of a flop for Facebook, as they are reaching outside of their speciality and becoming too commercial too soon.
What do you think?

Did you notice that we have put a new RSS icon at the top of the sidebar on the Right? We have deployed our RSS feed to work with Feedburner. If you have any RSS viewer, you can now connect to our RSS feed and view it at your convenience. This is just another great way to stay in touch with the latest Facebook App information. Just look for the Orange RSS Icon at the top right of all of our pages.
