We have decided to try to sell our apps on the Facebook Forums. We usually sell on Sitepoint, but this time we decided to try this.

App For Sale - If I Were A Millionaire!
Well, we listed our latest application for Sale on Sitepoint and also offered everyone a Free Ebook just for joining our email list. It is a Great book filled with some good Facebook Application information. The app is called “Before I Get Married”, it is a listing app that allows people to list the things they would like to do before they get married. It has 1000 installs and has been around for a little over a month. That was what I had planned on posting about today.
That plan is out the window, because we are having server problems. I go to look at my stats this morning and notice that I am getting an Error 28 message on the whole website. I check the error on Google and notice that is means that my tmp directory is full, which I can see is true on my server. The first corrective measure is to Repair the database, so after I figure out which database is running the wordpress for Apphire.com, I do a repair, but there are still errors showing.
The next step in troubleshooting is to restart MySql so that is clears the tmp directory, but as the title of the post says, with shared hosting, I don’t have access to this function. On top of that, my host has recently been sold and therefore there is a new company that is handling my support.

Ok, so the post have not been coming as much as we would have liked in the last month. There is a reason for this, on top of all of the Facebook app development work we have been doing, I also have a few e-commerce sites that I have and since it is Christmas time, they need a little more nourishing then the other parts of the year. So, you should start seeing some great things from us in the New Year, including the Launch of our Turnkey Apps section, a Facebook App E-Book, Great marketing specials, and some fabulous Facebook App articles.

The second app is a Holiday Themed app named “Snow Globe” This app has had over 600 installs in 5 days. So it is destined to bring in traffic before the holiday.

This app has grown naturally through only Viral Marketing and has gotten almost 900 installs in 3 days. It is amazing to watch the marketing that goes on virally on Facebook. Our other sales hit the Buy It Now price within 24 hours of being sold, and we think this one will do the same.
